As one of the world’s top fire dancers Dan has pushed the evolution of fire manipulation with his unique powerful style. Dan is an accomplished specialist in double staffs, long staff, fire swords, poi, fire special FX and handheld pyrotechnic effects with over 15 years of experience. Steffi started her career as a fire performer at the early age of 16. She has always loved the rush of dancing amidst flames and creatively combines acrobatic skills and dance with fire prop manipulation.
For two years Steffi and Dan lived in Asia where they performed and coached for Cirque du Soleil. During their time in Asia, Dan developed his signature fireball effect, which he first brought to stage at Cirque du Soleil’s Zaia in Macau.
Closely working together for the past 5 years Steffi and Dan developed their unique style of duo fire dance to include fast prop manipulation, dance, acrobatics, hand balance and cutting edge fire techniques.
